Roubaix, France - Ankama and Cartoon Network announced the broadcast of the two seasons (52x26’) of the WAKFU series across several European countries starting from summer 2012.

In France, season one will be broadcast on Cartoon Network from January 2013, and season two will hit the small screen in 2014.

In Spain, season one is due to be broadcast on BOING from September 2012 and season two will follow in March 2013.

In Italy, season one is set to be aired on BOING from the 11th June (running until September 2012). Season two will be broadcast from October 2012.

The partnership between this series, which pushes ‘transmedia’ to its limits, and Cartoon Network, which thrives on innovation and originality, seemed totally natural,” declares Pierre Branco, Deputy General Manager of Turner Broadcasting System France. “We’re confident that our viewers will love this series, which revives the fantasy genre with surprising, exciting stories and characters as heroic as they are humorous.”
