Stuart Beattie, the writer of G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA, has been hired to write and direct Lakeshore's I, FRANKENSTEIN, reports Heat Vision. Based on Kevin Grevioux's graphic novel, the modern story cast the Frankenstein monster as force to stop other monsters from taking over the world. Grevioux, who also created the UNDERWORLD franchise, adapted FRANKENSTEIN and will exec produce. Gary Lucchesi, Tom Rosenberg and Richard Wright are the producers.
