job posting sites

i'm looking for additional websites that post job listings in the animation field. I check AWN's job listings all the time, but there has to be more resources out there. Or is AWN the one, the only....the best when it comes to job listings?
Thanks

has anyone ever had a job offer from the awn job board?

try these:

www.designinmotion.com
www.creativecow.net
www.mandy.com
www.productionhub.com

i've never had any luck with any of these. networking has been my way of getting work.

good luck.

You can try http://www.craigslist.org/ as well, however keep in mind that most gigs don't pay for shite. If you looking to get some experience under you belt, it might be worth checkin out.

thanks very much guys

Craigslist is 95% crap. I've been through multiple tests on either end (offering and asking for a service) and it seems as if the site attracts a clientele of jokesters or idiots. For services I wanted, the people didn't respond, weren't professional, had nothing to show me, etc. Most of them couldn't even spell.

When I offered -my- services, it was just as a test in a very saturated market so I was shocked anyone even responded to it. Whatever kinda people they are then, they have 'em in droves =) Anyhow it was basically 13-22 aged people with nothing in their pockets making up stories and disappearing off the face of the Earth.

The 5%? A couple actual corporations in LA and NY (such as 'Music' Television) scrape up people for things like low-level modeling or reality show gigs...so I suppose work is possible, just not...likely...

Yah I hear ya, however I have found a few legit gigs on Craigs... they are indeed few and far between.
