Hi I was wondering if there was anyone out there doing stop motion animation shorts (the sort shown in festivals)? I'd like to know how you are able to get such high quaility images that look so professional etc. I did stop motion at uni but the results (due to equipment) werent as good as the stuff I see in festivals (eg in the UK). Plus there was just me working on it.
Does it cost a lot to do professional looking freelance stop motion? expensive cameras and software and employing other people? Also do stop motion animators get comissioned much?
