How much does AtomFilms pay in royalties?

I was interested in submitting some Flash cartoon content to AtomFilms, and after reading through their submission guidelines and forms, I cannot find specifics about how they calculate the royalties paid to their content providers.

AtomFilms states:
Get Paid
Qualifying films earn an advance payment plus royalties that increase each time they're viewed online.
Yet there is no information on what percentage the contributing artists can expect to be paid.

If anyone has any experience with AtomFilms and can share some details about their royalties structure, please reply to this post.

I was considering submitting something as well, but couldn't find how much either. Sorry I couldn't be of help. Hopefully someone else will let us know!

From what I understand it depends on whether they put yourself on a DVD collection or a pay section. That was 5 years ago. I don't know if they've changed that or not.

I imagine they tabulate depending on how many viewers you bring in (sliding scale). In other words, it probably won't pay the bills.

It would be nice if AtomFilms published their criteria, formula and schedule for royalties payments, or at least made it easier to find on the site (assuming this info is published there somewhere).

In comparison, kizash.com clearly defines their payment plan.

Have you tried emailing or calling them to ask how they tabulate royalties?

Yes, submitted an inquiry using the ASW Corporate form under the category "Content acquisition and development". Awaiting reply.

When you find out, can you post their answer? I don't want to mooch off of your research or anything, but now I am curious.

I think if you do subit, they will want more submissions. Although Atom is a brilliant place to get noticed. People usually start off on Newgrounds and work their way up to Atom films.

Sometimes they'll pay upfront or they will pay you royaltues based on how many views you get
