I've been to my first animation workshop yesterday. It was about the bouncing ball and spacing. We had to do a little exercise on it, by making a "frog-jump-cycle".
Unforunately the paper was to big for my scanner, so the top is cropped. Hope, you could nevertheless see it.

Nice, for a pencil test. I think you have this animation thing down. :)
Hi Bandita, this looks really nice. Nice squash and stretch, and the timing and spacing is working very well. The only thing I feel isn't working are the legs coming forward. You have a very nice S curve motion going on, but I think it's killing the feeling of forward motion by having the legs come forward under the body. I hope that makes sence.
Oh, I just checked it again. The pose right befor he leaves the ground, after he squashes down, his head pops backward for that frame. After that travels on a nice smooth path.
It looks really nice Bandita, keep it up.

Thank you guys.
I first started a wrong exercise :o but I realized it and had to do this one within half an hour. Yeah, he isn't moving "forward", right, and I think there could be more squash when it arrives the ground.
I think I was to concentrated on the spacing.
I really apprechiate your comments and I'm so thankful for all you critics (positive and negative) here on the AWN. I realized a drastic improvement in my work since I regularly post my scenes here.
