i'm am currently writing a proposal for an animated feature with direct to DVD distribution...
anyone have a good resource for the business of animation?
how well do anime style DVDs sell in the domestic and foreign markets?
any comparative picture reports or sales data would be much appreciated!!
** and a top sheet for a low budget animted flick!! can it be pulled off for under $250K?? how does the budget break down for something like this?
and any suggestions on animation and working with overseas animation studios would be great!
we've laid out a great looking business proposal.. now we just need to show the popularity and success of animated DVDs!
