Hey everyone,

We're getting pretty close to the release of a big website project here at Flashpotatoes. You can see the splash page now at: http://www.mungomungo.com/

It's going to be starting in the Salt Lake City, Utah area, but if it goes well here, it will be spreading to other major cities across the US. It's basically a site where you'll be able to go to get great deals on things. Probably about 50% off of normal prices. The idea here is that this character, who is a dragon by the way, has two sides to him. The one on the right is the tightwad and the one on the left is the carefree guy. They share a wallet, which will be in their back pocket and have constant debates over money.

Fortunately, there's MungoMungo.com to quell the dispute. You can spend and save at the same time. I didn't do all the development of this myself. I have an extremely talented designer who I work with. It's more of a collaboration on both our parts with most of the credit going to him. The idea is not mine either. This was done for a great client and now friend of mine.

If things go well, we'll be using the character for commercials and the site will be updated regularly with new art and new deals. (In the winter months, they'll be wearing coats and such and there will some background elements on the pages as well, like snowflakes). It's going to be a really fun site and a very useful tool for people who like to get great deals.
