Currently Seeking Amateur/Hobbyist/More Experienced Animators and Artists for Startup Animation Studio!

Hey everybody!

I'm in my final year of college and am starting an animation studio with some friends from my college! We are looking to build our team of passionate animators, artists, and sound designers. We'll focus on first creating 2D animatics, motion music videos, and simple shorts that focus on cute, cartoon characters, before moving onto more complex stories that seek to spread messages and raise awareness. Some of what we plan to make include:

  • Music videos with artwork or simple animation in the background
  • Stick figures doing humorous things
  • A hydra who argues with his own heads
  • Two sentient cats who wreak havoc and have supernatural powers
  • A short about eye disorders to inform people
  • A short focusing on symbolic interactions between elements and colors

Currently, we are in need of 2D animators and artists! Whether you do it for fun or are a professional seeking something new, joining our studio could be a hugely exciting opportunity if you are interested in any or all of the above topics/projects.

Due to COVID, we operate entirely virtually over Discord, Zoom, etc., and are flexible.

I myself tried to make a startup, it was a failure in reality. I am now preparing a new one, taking into account all my former mistakes. I think this time everything will go like clockwork.
