Borivoj Dovniković aka Bordo is one of the world’s finest animators. The Croatian-born animator/illustrator/caricaturist was a key figure at the famous Zagreb school. He agreed to meet me on a boat, whereabouts unknown, time uncertain. So we did. I think.
I get the greatest pleasure from... my wife Vesna’s cooking. I’m a gourmet and good food is very important to me. I like Chinese and other oriental delicacies, always something new and in unexpected combinations.
The trait I like least about myself is avoiding to go to doctors. In my 87 years of age it was not necessary, but I assume it would be useful to meet my family doctor at least once in a while.

It was extremely difficult to choose one book. However, I would say it is The Good Soldier Svejk by Jaroslav Hasek because of his irresistible humour speaking about the characters and situation in the time of the First World War on the territory of the Eastern Europe .
A (non-family member) person I have high respect for is without doubt Nikola Tesla, a great inventor and my com-patriot. His incredible work in the USA enabled the technical development of the modern world in all aspects, but he personally received the real public recognition only recently.
The song that makes me tingle is the song “Mother" by Barbra Streisand, whose finale is like a hymn reminding me of my mother which I lost when I was only five.
The funniest thing that happened to me...
When I was in London in the late seventies I decided to buy a high quality and typical English jacket. After visiting a few shops, I bought one, satisfied with the fabric and the nice label indicated that it was a product worth its price. However, when I came home, I found one small label in the inside pocket saying “Made in Yugoslavia”.
