About Andreas Hykade
Born in Altötting, Bavaria, Andreas Hykade studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and soon found himself working as an animator in London. After attending the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg for Animation from 1992-1995, Hykade has gone on to teach and give workshops on animation as well as working as a freelance animator of shorts (We Lived in Grass, Ring of Fire, Love and Theft, Nuggets), features and animated films for children (Tom).
