Hey guys, here is the latest project I've just finished. It is a 30 second commercial that will air on cable TV. I had a blast animating it, and I think it turned out very well, but I'm open to other opinions as well! Here is the link:

Really good. I like your Dallas Mavericks spot a lot too. Just for your info. there is an animation company here in Austin called Powerhouse Animation. Thay have some pretty cool stuff. You might wanna check it out at www.powerhouseanimation.com
I don't work there, I just like their style a lot.
By the way, what is your process? Do you sketch out your animation first, scan in your drawings, and then redraw in Flash? I'm always trying to find out what others are doing so that I may streamline my work process. Thanks,
Eugene Romero
Here is a link to a page where I explain my process. I do NOT scan in drawings, but rather doing everything in flash with a tablet:

ahahahah
that's great blue hickey....
Nice timing too.
Watching your animations always gives me hope that there is a future in animation, not just a hobby!!! is pencil and paper dead, shall i focus on using programs such as flash and digital drawings!
a future???
what about a present??
i think animation is doing just great right now....
P.
u da man!
u da bomb!
That spot moved me, really! ;)
I joke!
Actually that was fabulous, as always!
Great stuff!
Splatman :D
SPLAT digital
BTW, Splat,Been meaning to tell you since last summer how much I enjoyed those Washington state PSAs with the talking fish.
a future for me...... not the industry!
Don't know if you guys have noticed, but Jim gets cured differently now. The client requested that the Doctor not Karate chop Jim back into shape, but rather have him pop some pills into his mouth. So the animation has been updated. I think it works well either way personally.

Really good. It's very inspiring. How long did it take you to do? I like to know these kinds of things so that I know how I can improve.
this one took me 37 hours to animate. Of course, Andy, my partner in crime provided all of the narration and sound efx, so his time is not part of the 37 hours.

Nice and clean. Looks sweet. Might have gone with a more "sarcastic" voice over on this one. But that is my own casting input. Good luck.
Voicetoons Guy!
That's a good suggestion. Actually the way it's meant to work is that the narration is purposely understating the actual wacky happening of the animation. For example "Mary wondered if she had gained a pound or two". The visuals clearly show that she might have gained a couple hundred pounds or more!

Such a femine little belch. Great work Blue.
Pat Hacker, Visit Scooter's World.
Yes, the belch is perfect! Andy threw in the biggest belch he could find in his sound library, but it just wasn't big enough. So he had his buddy at work who is a master belcher produce a burp just for this cartoon. I think it works great and is overly disgusting! :p
