website designer/programmer pay?

hey guys, a friend of mine has a flash website she's working on, but she doesn't know how much to charge the company she's doing it for. On top of that, while she works on the design, I will be doing programming for it (and from the sounds of it, quite a bit of it, since she doesn't want to have to update it, so we're trying to create a swf that they can export data into that will import into the site later), so we're also wondering how to split the cost between designer/programmer. any ideas?
