The 79th Annual College for Creative Studies Student Exhibition showcases work by students who make one-of-a-kind furniture, sculpture, jewelry, glass pieces, ceramics, paintings, photography, fiber designs and other fine creations. The exhibition opens with a patron preview from 5:30 until 10:00 pm with tickets priced at $300 each. Patron tickets extend the privilege to serious art collectors to be the first to view and purchase the student work. Public preview begins at 7:00 pm and ends at 10:00 pm, at a cost of $50 per ticket. Several area vendors and restaurants will be providing food. Tickets may be purchased by calling (313) 664-7464.
From May 15 through May 28, the exhibition is free and open to the public during the hours of 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Saturday through Wednesday, and Thursday and Friday from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm. Parking is free and available in the secured CCS parking structure located on Brush between Frederick Douglass and Ferry. For more information, contact CCS at (313) 664-7400 or visit www.ccscad.edu.
