The inaugural Asheville Film Festival premiered to sell-out crowds, parties and interesting films. More than 8,000 people enjoyed the world premieres, independent films and educational workshops. The second Asheville Film Festival will include film distributors, industry educators and studios. Most of the festival is featured in downtown Asheville and the venues are within walking distance. Categories include: documentary, feature length (Over 61 minutes in length), shorts/animation (Under 60 minutes in length) and student. The early bird deadline is July 1, 2004 for a fee of $25.00.
