Córdoba International Animation Festival, October 11 – 13, brings together academics, art and culture in a unique event devoted to animation in its artistic and technological dimensions.
ANIMA - Córdoba International Animation Festival, held every odd year since 2001, is the main animation event in Argentina and an influential player in its field in Latin America. Its main objective is to gather creative individuals devoted to the art and craft of animation and promote a discussion and exchange that is focused on the scope of animation in its many dimensions, as artistic expression, as cultural industry, as educational resource, as corpus for research…. Or just as fun!
- It’s an OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN FROM THE BEST: ANIMA
AINMA aims to bring in depth and high end educational opportunities to its audience. Seminars, workshops and short courses are centered on a variety of topics dedicated to specific animation aesthetics and technology, and are conducted by professionals in these fields. - It’s a CONFERENCE: ANIMA
ANIMA’s International Academic Forum is the only conference on animation held in Latin. Submissions undergo double peer review by an Academic Committee for selection and publication. - The Festival includes The V International Academic Forum on Animation, which has an ongoing call for papers and posters and the GAVi Training (Animation and Videogame Management). The Festival will also hold a series of non-competitive screenings, seminars, workshops, specialized forums, and retrospectives.
- Submission deadline is May 30, 2017 - More information is available HERE.
