ChromaColour International, based in Calgary, supplies Hollywood animation studios including Disney, DreamWorks and 20th Century Fox Television with specialized equipment and animation material. For the first time, ChromaColour is offering summer camps and birthday parties at its new Creative Art Centre. Learn to use the same stop-motion technique that was used in the WALLACE AND GROMIT shorts and movies.
5-Day Animated Movie Making Summer Camps:
Ages 7-9 -- 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. -- July 20-24 or August 10-14 ($249 per child)Ages 10-12 -- 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. -- July 27-31 or August 17-21 ($249 per child)
Day 1 -- Decide on story and develop storyboardDay 2 -- Develop the characters and stagingDay 3 -- Shooting of animation using softwareDay 4 -- Continue animation shooting and prepare voice overDay 5 -- Post movie production including titling and transfer to DVD
3-Hour Birthday Parties
Minimum of eight children ages 7 and older. $32 a person includes a copy of the finished product.
