College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita will be offering short-term summer animation classes. They will be 4-week 1-credit classes, a brief introduction to the software. The following classes will be offered from 7/11/05-8/5/05:
ANIM 081, 3D Studio Max, TH 4pm-8:00pm (An introduction to 3D Studio Max)
ANIM 085, Maya, MW 6-8:00pm (An introduction to Maya)
ANIM 091L, Animation Open Lab: An open lab in which you use the computers and come and go as you please. Offered: Mon 8:00pm-9:20pm, Tues 6:30pm-9:50pm and Wed 8:00pm-9:20pm

This is an inexpensive alternative to 4-year schools and training programs.
