2D animation is coming back! Disney has announced its intention to ramp up its 2D division and at EAA we are preparing students for this new era with this event and animation classes in upcoming terms! Gary Perkovac, lead animator, comes to talk about core principles in animation! Gary Perkovac has worked for Disney, DreamWorks and Don Bluth on such films as The "Prince of Egypt," "Pocahontas" and "Secret of NIMH" to name a few. In fact, his over 20 years of animation experience includes work on 12 films in the classical tradition. Through examination of the classics, demonstration and discussion, we will explore 3 golden principles which bring life and magic to the screen and put you in the animation zone.
