Freleng Frame-By-Frame

ASIFA-East is screening Greg Ford's 1994 documentary FRELENG FRAME BY FRAME in its uncut, full-length 105-minute version. The film affords an unprecedented overview of Freleng's extraordinary career, most of it at Warner Bros. Its centerpiece is a definitive, in-depth interview with Friz himself, conducted less than two years before his death, in which Friz speaks candidly of his bosses, writers, animators, layout men and the whole process of creating a cartoon.
