The 30th Starz Denver Film Festival and the International Animated Film Association (ASIFA) invite budding animators to participate in this year's "green-themed" Animation Station workshops. Using drawings and cut-out animation, workshop participants will create an animated story about keeping our planet green.
Each animator will also receive an invitation to a private screening of the finished works and a voucher to attend one film at the Starz FilmCenter. Three different workshops are offered for different age groups and all levels of talent are welcome. Instruction will be available in both English and Spanish at all of the workshops.
The Animation Station schedule is as follows:
Saturday, Nov. 10 9:00 am - 12:00 pm: Ages 6-11, $15 per person 1:00 - 4:00 pm: Ages 12-18, $15 per person
Sunday, Nov. 11 1:00 - 4:00 pm: Adults, $30 per person
All Animation Station workshops will take place in the Tivoli building on the Auraria campus (900 Auraria Parkway) in room 444.
