From The New Yorker to Shrek: The Art William Steig

The Jewish Museum is hosting an exhibit titled "From The New Yorker to Shrek: The Art William Steig." Known for his cartoons in THE NEW YORKER and his award-winning children's books, including SHREK! and SYLVESTER AND THE MAGIC PEBBLE, William Steig was an American original whose achievements remain unparalleled. This first major exhibition of his work provides a rare opportunity to view more than 190 drawings, many of which have never before been on display.
