Is it possible to hand draw a character on paper and put him/her in the computer to use as a moveable 3D character in a live action film? If so how do I do this? Note that I do already know the other way as in drawing the character on the computer but that's exactly what I don't want, I want it to be all done in real colored pencil not computerized colored pencil.
Ann, I don't think so but it seems with all of the settings on the pencils, if you want it to look hand-drawn, that effect will be easy to do. Just do the raster format and when vectorizing try to keep as many data points. I've done hand drawing and then vector using this method. It is very time consuming but the look can be done if that's the intent.
Im surprised how many times this question is asked. even if you paint by hand. you still have to get it into the computer. either scan, picture or video of the paining. in which case it may be altered a little when saved as an image or video
