Adult Swim has just dropped its latest SMALLS animated short, Mayor Mochi – Mayo Days, the first in a three-film series from Jared Corwin and Conor Reed. SMALLS features short form animated releases by up-and-coming creators from around the world, with new shorts released weekly on Adult Swim’s YouTube.

The series is set in the charming town of Paw Peak, where the Pomeranian dog mayor, Mochi, is one mean son of a bitch. In the first episode that debuted today, Mayor Mochi, it’s Paw Peak’s annual mayo festival, and everyone’s happy except for Mayor Mochi and Mitch Oakdale.

You can watch the first episode here:

In Rad Dad, which drops April 11, Mitch needs a zoning permit, and Mayor Mochi entertains sick kids. In Hella Selzer, which drops April 18, Owen and Bowen demand Hella Seltzer, and Mayor Mochi and Ethel reveal a new sprinkler system.

The series is created by Corwin and Reed and written by Corwin, with animation and backgrounds created by Reed. Corwin, Reed, Nate Pringle, Lucia Del Rivero and Paul Louis Smith provide the voices.

Corwin is a writer/producer based in Los Angeles. He runs the non-profit/monthly screening series, Silver Lake Shorts. Reed is an animator, designer and director based in Los Angeles.
