Vienna, Austria -- The Immersive Education Initiative announced that the 4th European Immersive Education Summit (EiED 2014) begins in Vienna ten days from now.
Building on the success of the previous 8 years of Immersive Education conferences, the world's leading experts in immersion convene in Vienna, Austria, from 24-26 November 2014.
The opening Vienna Summit social event is on November 24th, and is followed by two days of research paper presentations, immersive technology demonstrations and hands-on workshops. Speakers and presenters at previous Immersive Education conferences have included faculty, researchers, staff, administrators and professionals from the United States Department of Education, UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), The Walt Disney Company, Google, Intel Corporation, Microsoft, Oracle, The Smithsonian Institution, Harvard University, MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Stanford University and many more world-class institutions and organizations.
The 4th European Immersive Education Summit is open to the global academic and business communities and experts in immersion, simulation, learning games, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MXR), robotics and 3D printing. Due to popularity and space considerations there is a strict limit of 10 seats per organization. Registration will automatically close when the available seats have been reserved.
