2015 Asian Animation Summit Headed to South Korea

Fourth annual Asian Animation Summit to take place December 7-9 on Jeju Island in South Korea.

This year’s fourth annual Asian Animation Summit, hosted by KOCCA, will take place on Jeju Island in South Korea from December 7-9.

Organizers are anticipating that 200 to 250 attendees will take part in this year’s Asian Animation Summit, which is designed to showcase Asia’s strongest animated projects looking for investors and partners, and to stimulate co-production and co-financing of animation in the region.

Each of the event’s three days will begin with an informative panel discussion or presentation that explores new market trends, business models or creative techniques that are highly relevant to Asian producers. We’ll also be presenting 24 projects from Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and elsewhere in Asia that have never before been to market.

An initiative of KOCCA (Korea), MDec (Malaysia) and SIPA/DITP (Thailand), AAS 2015 is an annual event that’s owned and produced by Kidscreen, and supported by Screen Australia.

Registration for the 2015 Asian Animation Summit is now open, with a $200 Early-Bird discount available through Friday, September 11.
