Explore-At-Bristol Hosts Aardman-At-BristolBristol, U.K.February 14 September 6, 2004
Explore At-Bristol has opened a brand new exhibition, Aardman At-Bristol. From storyboards to set design, this new exhibition will give visitors a taste of the famous animation studios history and Oscar-winning filmmaking. The exhibit will chronicle how Aardman creates many of their characters, from the early days of Morph to the more technical times of Wallace, Gromit and the stars of CHICKEN RUN. Six intricate original models will take the spotlight, giving visitors a peek at Gromits bedroom used in THE WRONG TROUSERS, CHICKEN RUNs Mr. Tweedy being attacked by a brood of chickens, the pie-machine that took more than 18 months to design and a model showing a step-by-step guide to constructing Gromit. Accompanying the models, the studio will be screening a specially created film showing highlights of Aardmans films, interviews with the creators and behind the scenes footage.
