Deadline.com has uncovered a list of the actors that have met with writer/director Tony Gilroy over the BOURNE IDENTITY spinoff lead. The list includes Joel Edgerton, Josh Hartnett, Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, Paul Dano, Michael Pitt, Oscar Isaac, Garrett Hedlund, Michael Fassbender, Luke Evans, Alex Pettyfer, Taylor Kitsch and Benjamin Walker.
THE BOURNE LEGACY is the title of a Bourne book, written by Eric Lustabader for Robert Ludlum, yet the film will not be based on it. The story will take place during the timeline of the first three BOURNE films, but not involve Jason Bourne.
Universal has slated the film to start production in the fall.
