AGBO’s Visual Creatures Names Andy Williams Senior Executive Producer

Industry veteran will lead business development and client strategy as the virtual production company expands its service offerings to the filmmaking industry.

Visual Creatures has appointed Andy Williams as Senior Executive Producer for their virtual production studio.  Williams, a former executive at DNEG and Outpost VFX, will helm business development and client strategy while also handling executive producer duties, joining founders Ryan McNeely and John Cranston, VFX executive Ian Unterreiner and industry visualization veteran Scott Meadows.

Williams joins the Russo Brothers’ AGBO owned entity as it expands its virtual production and visualization offering to the filmmaking industry.  His appointment to Visual Creatures, which just completed VFX work on Russo’s Citadel and virtual production services on upcoming feature The Electric State, coincides with the recent investment in VC's VizLab, a motion-capture stage fully integrated with their real-time pipeline and LED volume.

“The opportunity that Visual Creatures offers its clients through its association with AGBO is entirely unique,” said Williams. “No other provider of services within the space couples technical innovation with such a strong connection to creative storytellers who are constantly pushing the envelope.”

Unterreiner said, “Both respected by the teams he leads and trusted by the clients he has long standing relationships with Andy is the perfect fit to share with the world all the exciting things we are developing at Visual Creatures. We are very lucky to have him as part of our leadership team during a time of rapid growth in Virtual Production at VC.”
