The Cal State LA alum’s credits include ‘Stranger Things,’ ‘The Amazing Spider-Man,’ and ‘The Hunger Games,’ among others.
Award-winning global entertainment company Alkemy X has appointed Sarah Grieshammer as VFX Supervisor. With experience across episodic, feature film and commercial projects, Grieshammer has worked on numerous projects; her top credits include the films The Amazing Spider-Man, The Hunger Games, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, as well as the series Stranger Things, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Sleepy Hollow, and Your Honor.
Grieshammer studied Art and Animation at California State University, Los Angeles, and has since worked in visual effects for nearly two decades, as both a compositor and an on-set supervisor, allowing her to gain a holistic understanding of the multitude of roles and departments within VFX studios while also giving her a deep understanding of the end-to-end process.
Passionate about building a more diverse industry for the future, Grieshammer mentors emerging artists in the VFX industry, lending her expertise to broaden awareness of different career path opportunities available. Currently based in New Orleans, she also periodically teaches visual effects at Loyola University New Orleans.
