‘Unique and United’ exhibit at Gallery 839 features an auction of multimedia works by TAG members to be held on Thursday, July 11.

The event will take place on Thursday, July 11, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. PST at Gallery 839, located at 1105 N. Hollywood Way in Burbank, CA. The silent auction will conclude at 8:30 p.m., with winners able to collect their purchased artwork at the end of July when the exhibit closes. No RSVP is necessary for the opening night, and the gallery will be open to the public for the remainder of July during business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), although visits must be arranged in advance by emailing jupey.krusho@tag839.org(link sends e-mail).
Abdullah Kassem, exhibit co-organizer and background painter/color designer, emphasized the importance of the event, saying, “Unique and United is meant to allow TAG artists the freedom to explore their personal voices. We often get too wrapped up in the professional projects we’re working on, so I hope this show ignites the courage for people to work on things that bring them joy. This is a great opportunity for the community at large to bid on unique artwork by talented artists for a great cause.”
Among the artists featured in the exhibit is Emily Greenfield, co-organizer of “Unique and United” and background designer on Baby Shark’s Big Show! Greenfield has a history of organizing art shows for the animation and illustration communities. Aaron Spurgeon, an art director known for his work on Warner Bros.’ Looney Tunes Cartoons, started his career as a visual development artist on Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. Additionally, Heidi Neunhoffer, a storyboard artist and illustrator who has contributed to Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, The Croods: Family Tree and Spirit: Riding Free, will also be showcasing her work.
