Anthem to Serve IDT’s Masters of Horror Second Season

Anthem Visual Effects has once again been tapped to create visual effects for IDT Ent.s anthology series MASTERS OF HORROR, now in its second season.

This new season, a series of 13 original one-hour movies in HD produced by IDT in association with Industry Ent. and Nice Guy Prods., will feature a creative mixture of both former and new MASTERS directors and writers.

We look forward to working with the worlds leading horror film directors and writers, said Lee Wilson, Anthems president/visual effects supervisor. Such a unique series provides us with the challenge and opportunity to create some truly inventive and powerful visual effects.

The second season of MASTERS OF HORROR will premiere in Fall 2006 on Showtime in the U.S. and on SCREAM in Canada. IDT Ent. Sales will provide worldwide distribution of the series and Anchor Bay Ent., IDTs home entertainment company, will handle all DVD releases.

Anthem Visual Effects (www.anthemfx.com), located in Vancouver, British Columbia, was founded in 2004, and is led by Wilson, cfo/visual effects producer Lisa Sepp-Wilson and vp/digital effects supervisor Sébastien Bergeron. Anthems first project was the Hallmark/Sci Fi Channel miniseries, LEGEND OF EARTHSEA, for which the studio (together with another facility) delivered more than 400 visual effects shots. LEGEND OF EARTHSEA received a 2005 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Special Visual Effects For a Miniseries, Movie or a Special and won the 2005 Leo Award for Best Visual Effects in a Feature Length Drama.
