- Atlanta-based Fathom Studios, which creates compelling graphic elements
for distribution on television, film or computer platforms, is looking for
a STORYBOARD ARTIST. The successful candidate will interact and collaborate
with all Fathom Studio team members in an extremely fast-paced, creative
environment. Requirements: The qualified individual will have a strong
background in the traditional arts and storytelling; An excellent
understanding of camera movement, shot pacing, and film language a must!
Only highly creative individuals need apply. Knowledge of 3D software
packages a plus but not required. Fathom Studios is also looking to bring
on board an ART DIRECTOR to create fantastical imagery for computer
generated film, and oversee storyboard artists and collaborate closely with
additional Fathom Studio team members. Requirements: The ideal candidate
will have an exceptional background and a BFA in the traditional arts --
painting, illustration, and/or graphic design, and an understanding of
composition, lighting and color. Only highly creative individuals need

- Big Idea Productions, producers of the popular children's video
collection "Veggie-mania," are looking for a VICE PRESIDENT of PRODUCTION.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and
production of Big Idea animated properties; Have ownership and management
responsibility for the entire animation studio and production process; Be
chartered with creating distinctive and innovative products from company
assets; Be responsible for managing all aspects of the production process;
Develop content; Have some oversight responsibility for internal creative
talent; Serve as a liaison on behalf of Big Idea Productions with other
joint venture partners; Have full administrative, budgeting and managerial
responsibility for the production department; And be responsible for the
recruiting, development, training and retention of staff. Qualifications
and Characteristics: The successful candidate will have 10 to 15 years of
progressive experience in the production of animated entertainment
products; Have seasoned animation skills and 3D experience; Be extremely
well organized; Have good intuitive marketing sensibilities; Be an
excellent communicator; And have a mentor or coach personality in
management. A Bachelor's Degree is required. An advanced degree in
animation or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
