Atomic Arts Unveils More Animal Pharm

Atomic Arts unveils more of their adult animated series ANIMAL PHARM at MIPCOM. Sponsored by Channel 4, the program debuted earlier in the year at Cartoon Forum in Varese, Italy. Created in house, the 13x24 series is slated for production later this year and will be produced at both Atomics U.K. and Eastern European studios. Aimed at ages 16-34, the show is based around a mental institution run by the Pig-birds who are using it as a testing ground for their hugely profitable business Animal Pharmaceuticals.

Sean OKelly, exec producer/md of Atomic Entertainment Ltd., said, This is the first truly in-house animated series for Atomic, we recently opened studios in Eastern Europe and now have the resources to take on series work. We have ploughed a lot of time, energy, and sheer madness into the development to ensure our end product is quality entertainment. We have a great cast including William Hootkins (STAR WARS/ BATMAN/ HITCHCOCK BLONDE) as Randy the sex addicted Panda, and Maria Darling (BOB THE BUILDER/ RUBBER DUBBERS) as Bella the bulimic Whale amongst others.

Formed 10 years ago, Atomic Arts is an independent television and film production company dedicated to animation and live-action. With studios in London and Eastern Europe, Atomics resources include more than 30 workstations and editing facilities.
