AWN is recently launched the Educator's Forum. The goal of the forum is to offer a place where anyone involved in the development, support and delivery of animation-related education and educational products can ask questions and rub elbows with other professionals in the business. The discussions have begun, and below is a quick sketch of what is being said.
One of our members is offering to share is Flash-produced Maya tutorials with other educators. A new member is asking for advice on using animation to reach troubled kids. One of our junior members is dreading the difficult world of being an animator -- any words of encouragement and advice are warranted. Moderator Larry L. starts a thread for instructors to share their works of art. More posts have come in on designing characters, and education and production. Also post your thoughts on the forum in general.
