Bardel Distribution heads to MIPCOM with the new musical preschool series, Lah-‐Lah’s Adventures.
Bardel Distribution Inc. announced that they will launch of the new musical preschool series, Lah-‐Lah’s Adventures at MIPCOM 2013 for sale in select territories. A co-‐production between Australia's Stella Projects and Canada's Bardel Entertainment, Lah-‐Lah'sAdventures is currently wrapping production on the first season of 26x12 minute episodes (also available as 13x30 with bonus content) which is set for broadcast on CBeebies channels worldwide (ex UK) in the first quarter of 2014. Commissioning broadcasters in Australia and Canada are Cbeebies Australia, Seven Network, Knowledge Network and BBC Kids with financial participation from Canada Media Fund (CMF). Executive Producers are Grahame Grassby for Stella Projects and Delna Bhesania, Frank Saperstein, and Leonard Terhoch for Bardel Entertainment.
Created by Tina Harris, Mark Harris, and Deb Ryan, Lah-‐Lah’sAdventures follows the exploits of lead singer Lah-‐Lah and band members Buzz and Lola, Sneezy Squeezy, Tom Tom, and Mister Saxophone. Through a combination of live action and animation the band introduces children to an inspiring world of music and instruments of all shapes and sizes.
Bardel Distribution, located in The Telefilm Canada Pavilion during MIPCOM, will be available to further discuss delivery of season one for broadcast, digital and home video with interested parties. Stella Licensing has been appointed as the global master-‐licensing agent.
