Bizaar Studios Launches, George R.R. Martin and Conrad Vernon Named to Advisory Board

New company bets on future of adult animation, will offer development, marketing and distribution across TV and films, as well as free streaming services.

Bizaar Studios, a new adult animation company based in Los Angeles, has officially launched today. Founded by Rosewood Creative agency’s Amir Mohamadzadeh and Jeremy Iovine and sci-fi/horror media company DUST and ALTER founder Eric Bromberg, the new studio will focus on development, marketing and distribution of adult animated content across film and TV.

The company reports to have partnered with hundreds of independent animators worldwide to curate what it believes to be “the most provocative, experimental, and edgy collection of adult animation – all in one place.” The films will be featured on Bizaar Studios’ free streaming services, with exclusive content released across social channels.

Bizaar Studios also announced that George R.R. Martin (Game Of Thrones franchise), Jimmy Iovine (Interscope Records, Beats By Dre), and Conrad Vernon (Shrek 2, Monsters vs. Aliens, Sausage Party), will serve as advisory board members and key stakeholders in the company.

“Great can come from anywhere,” said Jeremy Iovine. “It’s our goal to find and partner with creators pushing the art form forward to tell stories that will redefine what people have come to expect from adult animation.”

“Bizaar is the destination for mind-bending adult animation,” says Mohamadzadeh. “We’re building a sanctuary for indie creators and Hollywood veterans alike – to collaborate, experiment, innovate, and tell stories that challenge conventions.”
