Brand New School announces the appointment of long-time in-house contributor Robert Bisi to creative director/director.
Brand New School has named long-time in-house contributor Robert Bisi as creative director/director. Since starting at Brand New School as a freelancer in 2005, Bisi has steadily evolved from designer and 3D generalist to art director and live-action director.
“Robert has become an indispensable part of our team,” notes Brand New School Executive Creative Director & Partner, Jonathan Notaro. “It’s been a pleasure to witness his evolution as an artist over the past few years. He elicits the best out of everyone who works alongside him.”
He has mastered a number of techniques since joining Brand New School, combining stop motion, puppetry, live action, and cel and 3D animation to create a distinct visual dialogue that is all his own. Bisi’s work includes the Cannes shortlisted eBay Toys for Tots installation, numerous promos for Toyota, and highly regarded work for Old Navy (Funnovations), Alamo (Meet the Getaways), Bausch and Lomb (Biotrue), and TiVo (TiVo Is Here).
“I’ve always been attracted to the wide range of projects at BNS. Working here has allowed me to explore multiple avenues of design and storytelling, alongside an incredible group of artists,” states Bisi. “The collaborative mentality encourages a highly creative environment and it shows in what we do. I’m really thrilled to sign on in this more expansive role and look forward to all the great work we’re going to create.”
