Kids entertainment specialist and top French CGI studio team with Belgian creative house on medieval animated comedy aimed at kids 6-11; series has already sold to broadcasters including France’s Canal+ Family and Teletoon+, Germany’s Super RTL, and Belgium’s VRT-Ketnet and RTBF-Ouftivi.
My Knight and Me is the 5th production in CAKE and TeamTO’s partnership; a creative relationship, which has spanned almost a decade and includes worldwide hits Emmy nominated Angelo Rules (now in its third series) and Oscar’s Oasis. Co-produced with Belgian outfit Thuristar, My Knight And Me is a spinoff of Thuristar’s short film 850 meters by Joeri Christiaen, who is directing the series. TeamTO has applied film technology developed at its own studio to the series, resulting in much more detailed and sophisticated cinematic image quality.
My Knight and Me has five broadcasters already onboard, Canal+ Family and Teletoon+ (France), Super RTL (Germany) and VRT-Ketnet and RTBF-Ouftivi (Belgium). The series is set to debut on RTBF-Ouftivi, Canal+ Family and on Super RTL later this year with CAKE handling all international distribution.
