Industry veteran Jason Dowdeswell, named Executive Producer and Studio Manager, will oversee work at the new location.
Following a period of sustained growth and after having joined Territory Group, a global collective of creative businesses, Cantina Creative has announced the launch of its new Vancouver studio. The move looks to tap into the region’s breadth of VFX talent while strengthening the studio’s global position and reach.

Industry veteran Jason Dowdeswell has been hired as Executive Producer and Studio Manager to oversee work locally in Vancouver. The film and VFX industry professional’s credits include VFX and digital work on projects such as Starship Troopers, Stuart Little, and Iron Man 3, with more recent work on Fistful of Vengeance and Firefly Lane.
In his new role, he will tap his professional connections across North America and Canada to help Cantina build a strong regional presence.
