Cinedigm announces the October 8 release of the 12-DVD Inspector Gadget Megaset and four 3-DVD value sets, followed by the October 29 release of Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas.

First up, on October 8, is the release of the Inspector Gadget Megaset, a 12-DVD set with over 32 hours of programming, including all classic episodes from Seasons One and Two packaged together for the first time. This must-have collection for old and new fans alike also includes the 90-minute special Inspector Gadget’s Last Case: Claw’s Revenge. Also on October 8, Cinedigm is releasing the first two seasons in four 3-DVD value sets for the fans who prefer to collect this retro brand in volumes.
The holiday fun is just beginning, as the Emmy-nominated Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas hits store shelves on October 29. In this seasonal favorite, Dr. Claw, Inspector Gadget’s arch enemy, captures Santa Claus and proclaims himself Santa Claw, all with the aim of ruining Christmas. It’s up to Inspector Gadget to travel to the North Pole to save the day and bring joy back to the world.
Inspector Gadget, whose title character was voiced by the legendary Don Adams (Get Smart), premiered in the U.S. in 1983 and remained in syndication until the late 1990’s. The series was named #54 in IGN Entertainment list of the Top 100 Best Animated TV Shows. The series has aired in 55 countries and 24 different languages.
