Toronto-based studio will develop new half-hour animated comedy series based on Polyblank Designs’ ‘Pets Rock’ brand.
There’s a long traditional of anthropomorphic animals in popular culture, from Mickey Mouse to Brian Griffin but when the world appears to revolve around celebrity and seems literally to be “going to the dogs” it’s the right time to start listening to what those dogs are saying! The world of Pets Rock meshes celebrity with our furry friends and imagines what those pugnacious pets in cosplay guise have to say about the crazy times we live in… The series concept will be unveiled prior to the 2017 MIPCOM market.
