Digital Domain 3.0 CEO Daniel Seah named executive director and CEO of parent company Digital Domain Holdings Limited.

Playa Vista, CA -- Daniel Seah, current CEO of Academy Award-winning visual effects company Digital Domain 3.0 has been elevated to the position of Executive Director and CEO for its parent company Digital Domain Holdings Limited. This move is a major vote of confidence from Digital Domain Holdings Limited Board of Directors and a show of faith of Daniel’s accomplishments at Digital Domain 3.0 and his vision for the future of the company. As Executive Director and CEO of Digital Domain Holdings Limited, Seah will have encompassing authority to broker major strategic partnerships including new media ventures, movie productions, co-productions, intellectual property and beyond. Marking a major push forward for Digital Domain 3.0, Daniel will continue to work day to day with the groundbreaking and innovative team of artists at the Digital Domain 3.0 campuses. With Daniel’s leadership, vast business expertise and passion for new entertainment ventures, Digital Domain 3.0 is poised to reach new heights both domestically and abroad.

Daniel Seah took over the role of CEO at Digital Domain 3.0 in July of 2013. Under his stewardship the company has completed work on the box office successes Maleficent and the co-production of Ender’s Game as well as high profile clients United, Kia and Nissan, and the video games Destiny, Assassin’s Creed and Halo. The company also broke new ground utilizing their 3D hologram technology for live concerts in Taiwan and Hong Kong with a “Virtual” Teresa Teng, the late Chinese pop diva.

Seah graduated from Peking University with a Masters Degree in Law (with a major in international politics) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law. Seah previously worked as an investment banker at Barclays and has extensive experience in the financial industry with expertise in securities, options, fund management and international business development. His in-depth knowledge of the private equity markets in Greater China and global markets enabled him to focus on business development around the world. From May 2010 to March 2013, Seah was also senior management of United Simsen Securities Limited, a company that provides brokerage services on securities, foreign exchange, gold bullion, futures and mutual funds.
