Disney is clapping for a live-action Tinkerbell feature titled TINK, reports VARIETY. Elizabeth Banks (ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO) will star. She developed the concept with her Brownstone Prods. partner Max Handelman and Offspring Ent.'s Matt Smith. Offspring's Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot and Wonderland Ent.'s McG and Mary Viola are the producers.
The romantic comedy will center on Tinkerbell's mischievous personality. Actress Elizabeth Wright Shapiro is writing the screenplay.
