Disney Drops New ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’ Trailer

The reimagined J.M. Barrie classic stars dual protagonists Alexander Molony as Peter and Ever Anderson as Wendy, launching exclusively on Disney+ April 28.

The latest Disney live-action adaptation, Peter Pan & Wendy, has a new trailer! The film, starring Alexander Molony as Peter and Ever Anderson as Wendy, sets the classic characters as dual protagonists.

A reimagining of the J.M. Barrie novel and Disney’s classic 1953 animated film, Peter Pan & Wendy follows Wendy Darling, a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home behind, and Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. Alongside her brothers and the tiny fairy Tinker Bell (Yara Shahidi), Wendy travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland where she encounters evil pirate captain Captain Hook (Jude Law). A thrilling and dangerous adventure commences, which will change everyone’s lives forever.

The film also stars Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Joshua Pickering, Jacobi Jupe, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk, and Jim Gaffigan, and is directed by David Lowery (The Green Knight) from a screenplay by Lowery and Toby Halbrooks. Jim Whitaker (Pete’s Dragon) produces while Adam Borba (A Wrinkle in Time), Thomas M. Hammel (Thor: Ragnarok), and Toby Halbrooks serve as executive producers. The visual effects are handled by Framestore and DNEG.

Visual effects are being produced by Cinesite, Clear Angle Studio, Day for Nite, DNEG, Framestore, and Maere Studios.

Peter Pan & Wendy begins streaming April 28, 2023, exclusively on Disney+.
