Hergé Studios announced that DreamWorks has exercised its option to produce a series of films based on famed Belgian cartoon series, THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN. Few details have come out about the project except that it will be live-action and DreamWorks hopes to have the film in theaters in two years.
Nick Rodwell of Hergé said, "if movie #1 works, we will continue."
Steven Spielberg has originally acquired the rights to the character back in 1983.
