Press Release from DUCK

In a continuation of a longstanding relationship with Doner and COX Communications, DUCK Studios played an integral role in the telecommunications giant's latest campaign. Working with Crossroads Films Director Vadim Perelman, DUCK handled all editorial and postproduction work on the :30s, including the creation and integration of the COX "Digeez," the CG-animated mascots designed to represent the company's connection with its customers in the digital age.

Cup Phone stars a COX maintenance worker and a pair of hardworking Digeez using the bucket on their work truck to return a dropped cup phone to a pair of boys in a tree fort so they can again speak to their grandfather below. Breakfast In Bed captures a woman waking to a heartfelt call from her husband while he's in flight, playfully asking her, "How does breakfast in bed sound?" When he asks her to turn her television on, she discovers that her favorite film, Breakfast At Tiffany's is playing; her husband stealthily flashes back to a television COX customer service center, where it's revealed that a worker and a Digeez helped him order the film on demand for his wedding anniversary.

"We're extremely proud to have established ourselves as a trusted and valuable resource to Doner," noted DUCK EP Mark Medernach. "As we've worked with the agency on several brands, including COX over the past several years, we've developed a unique chemistry that enables us to create these memorable projects."
