Eoin Duffy Schools Santa on Physics with New Animated Short

Vancouver-based filmmaker is the director of ‘The Missing Scarf,’ which clocked up more than 16 international awards following its release and secured a place on the shortlist for the 2014 Academy Awards.

Skewering the season’s conventions for three years running, Vancouver-based filmmaker Eoin Duffy has released a new holiday-themed animated short. Beginning with his 2013 short Snowflake, and then 2014’s Christmas Eve, Duffy now launches Happy Holidays -- a short tale depicting a would-be Santa. 

For this project Duffy teamed up with renowned character animator Henrique Barone alongside audio powerhouse Cypher Audio:

Duffy is the director of The Missing Scarf, which clocked up more than 16 international awards following its release and secured a place on the shortlist for the 2014 Academy Awards. Selected to participate in the Oscar theatrical release following the awards ceremony, The Missing Scarf screened in more than 300 theatres throughout North America.
