Entertainment One promotes Laura Clunie to Vice President of Creative Affairs and will help to expand eOne Family presence in Canada.

Entertainment One announces that Laura Clunie is being promoted to Vice President of Creative Affairs and will be relocating from London to the company’s Toronto headquarters to expand the presence of its Family division (eOne Family) in Canada and North America.
From March 2013, Clunie will be based in Canada and will oversee the acquisition and development (both digital and linear) of eOne Family content. Leading all the creative affairs for the division, Clunie will continue to manage Lorna Burkle (Production and Development Executive) and Lorna Withrington (Acquisitions Executive) in the London office, in addition to managing Swing Chang (Director of Development) from her new base in Toronto.
Canada is a key market for eOne Family’s production and co-production business. With a development slate that includes many shows already signed to major Canadian broadcasters, Clunie’s relocation will strengthen broadcast ties in the territory and solidify the firm’s co-production partnerships.

With Clunie’s strong international contacts and vision for new content she was the perfect choice for this role.’
Clunie joined eOne Family in 2008 and worked on the production of such hits as Peppa Pig and Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom. Prior to this she was at Chorion for five years where she held production and development responsibilities for some of the UK’s biggest children’s properties including The Famous Five, Noddy, Olivia and Mr. Men.
