New broadcast sales will see Amberwood’s animation special air Christmas 2013 in Latin America, Central Eastern Europe, Canada, France, Switzerland, Norway and Ireland.
Entertainment One Family (eOne Family) is proud to announce that it has secured a number of new broadcast deals for the Amberwood Entertainment holiday special The Magic Hockey Skates, which will head to TV screens in key international markets including Latin America, Central Eastern Europe, Canada, France, Switzerland, Norway and Ireland this Christmas.
eOne Family, which represents international distribution rights for The Magic Hockey Skates, has signed agreements with a number of leading international broadcasters including Disney XD LatAm, Societe Radio Canada, Teletoon France, RTS Radio Television Suisse,NRK Norway, Chello Central Europe and RTE in Ireland; all of which will include The Magic Hockey Skates in their Christmas programming schedule in December 2013.
Based on the Allan Morgan children’s book of the same name, The Magic Hockey Skates is a 2D animated primetime TV special. The story follows one young boy’s inspirational journey as he gains confidence and self-respect with a little help from a pair of magic skates. The children’s special is produced by Amberwood Entertainment, in association with CBC, with financial assistance from the Canada Media Fund.
